Q: The Gospel of Inclusion!
Q: Recently, I heard on national TV, on a highly rated weekly secular program, the term, “The Gospel of Inclusion.” Can you explain it?
A: The Bible States in 2nd Corinthians 4:4, “Satan, who is the God of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.” In otherwords, God has to grant the unbelievers the grace to have faith to believe. Sometimes, I find myself in conversation with so-called wise men, and the subject of salvation enters the conversation, and their conclusion becomes,”Dr. Mike, when I’m ready to give my life to Jesus, I will make that decision; but until such time, I’m going to enjoy my life to the fullest. [Notice how many times you read the words, “I/my” in their statement: they believe it’s their decision… and theirs alone!]
In theology proper, we say that man has ‘partial free will’ and ‘total free choice.’ Partial free will, because unregenerated human flesh has not been eradicated, and it won’t be, until we receive our glorified bodies; therefore, man will not always make the right decision, when confronted with what God wants for him and the pull from the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, as stated in 1st John 2:16. Free choice is totally different. I explain: We live in a sin cursed world: you and your spouse walking down the street, a (would-be) robber walks up behind you and sticks a gun in your back, and says, “Your life or your money! He’s given you a choice. You decide!
Without getting into the ‘fall of mankind,’ via the Adamic Race and Satan’s influence in the earth, the bottom line is this: we cannot save ourselves, that’s why we yearn for a savior, and Jesus offers salvation to everyone who is willing to REPENT and believe His gospel. John 3:16.
For over 2000 years, sacred Scripture talks about, “The time God first visited the Gentiles to take from them a people for Himself. Acts15:4
Then, around 1774, a popular religious teaching surfaced, called ‘Universalism,’ a belief system that all people will eventually be saved and Heaven bound. Its popularity died out during the Reformation. However, in early 2000, noted pastors re-packaged Universalism under a ‘New Age’ concept called, “The Gospel of Inclusion.” One of its founders, Bishop Carlton Pearson believed he had received an epiphany from God. An epiphany is an experience of sudden religious realization. He stated publicly that, “He doubted the existence of Hell as a place of eternal torment.” He said, “Hell is created on earth by human depravity and behavior.”
The Gospel of Inclusion states:
* Jesus’ death and resurrection paid sins price for all of humanity to enjoy eternity in heaven, and REPENTANCE ISN’T NECESSARY!
* SALVATION IS UNCONDITIONAL … it doesn’t require faith in the saving grace of Jesus, as payment for the penalty and forgiveness of SIN!
* Regardless of your religious affiliation … you’re heaven bound to live their eternally with ‘ALL RELIGIONS’, whether they believe in Jesus or not!
They quote 1st Timothy 2:4, “This is good and pleases God our Savior, Who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.” God wills EVERYONE to be saved, therefore, everyone will be saved! This verse makes reference to ‘EVERYONE’ that God has preordained/predestined from the beginning of time to be saved, will be saved! After the fall of man, we were all destined to eternal separation and damnation from holy God. But through His grace and mercy, he took Himself a remnant out, to be preserved from His wrath to come.
[Perhaps] also it could be a prelude to the trend/falling away that we’re witnessing in Christendom: meaning, well-known gospel artists are teaming up with so-called ‘hard-core’ secular artists,
producing albums that are reaching #1 on the Gospel Album Billboard. We saw this [just] a couple of weeks ago, when Snoop Dogg’s gospel album shot to #1.

I hope this helps.
Thanks!
