7 BIBLICAL TRUTHS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOUR ENEMY

By: Dr. Mike Jones

Permit me to start this teaching by saying there’s a big difference between Christianity and other religions.  Christianity stands along because of the way she treats her enemies.
Don’t ever forget that your flesh will try to find a way to excuse you from following God’s obedience to His word, to handle the problem alone.

1). The first truth you should know about your enemy is: overcoming your enemy is the key to your victories. Jesus told His disciples in St. John 16:33, The things I’ve told you that the world will do to you, I’ve told you so that when they happen you won’t be fearful and afraid, surprised at what’s happening:

2). The second truth you should know about your enemy is:  As long as you’re here in the earth realm, you will always have to confront an enemy. God didn’t raise an army of quitters.  He expects us to fight the good fight of faith until Jesus returns.

3) The third truth you should know about your enemy is:  They’re always unhappy about your progress in life, which proves, anything good always has an enemy. We as Christians need not be naïve to the fact that everyone that stands in your face speaking great swelling words over you are your true friends.

4). The fourth truth you should know about your enemy is: when God completes a season in your life, He hardens the heart of an enemy towards you.

5). The fifth truth you should know about your Enemy is: There are bountiful rewards for loving your enemies. No one is saying it’s easy to love the unlovable, but God does expect you to make a conscious effort to love your enemy for two reasons: (1) He commands it; and (2) He rewards diligently those that seek Him in relationship.

6.) The sixth truth you should know about your enemy is: As you grow and mature in your relationship with God, your assignment will be revealed, and you will discover your enemy.

7) The seventh truth you should know about your enemy is: You should expect to win every battle, because the Holy Spirit will guide you through the enemy’s snares how to fight the good fight of faith.

God has given you everything you need for triumph and promises that through Him you can do all things.
